In 2021, Ukrainian airports concluded the year with impressive passenger traffic figures. While the festive atmosphere surrounded everything, our team worked passionately. We planned the launch of new advertising video displays in five international airports in Ukraine:
- Boryspil International Airport (KBP) – 3 LED screens (already operational);
- Kharkiv International Airport (HRK) – 2 LED screens (planned launch), 1 LED screen (operational); 5 double-sided video citylights (already operational);
- Zaporizhia International Airport (OZH) – 1 LED screen (operational);
- Odessa International Airport (ODS) – 3 LED screens (planned launch);
- Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport (LWO) – 3 LED screens (planned launch).
In our selection, we primarily relied on modern trends in the advertising world and analyzed the audience's preference for various mediums. As a result, the advantages of dynamic content over static became evident in airports:
- Video content attracts more attention and allows establishing visual contact within the first seconds of viewing.
- It conveys a substantial amount of information, providing a more comprehensive introduction to the advertiser's offer.
- There are no costs for printing and installation.
- Rapid and frequent replacement of content is possible.
Moreover, all advertising structures are located in areas with maximum passenger traffic and excellent visibility. Therefore, the advertising material will achieve significant coverage of the target audience.
LED screen in the waiting area
A medium that guarantees the effectiveness of the implemented advertising campaign. Its placement was chosen in an area of the airport characterized by constant passenger movement. The content displayed on the LED screen is visible to the audience in the waiting area, the registration zone, and during the exit from the arrival zone. This high frequency of user interactions with advertising allows showcased narratives to receive a substantial number of views and be memorable to the presented brand.

LED screens on the central window in the registration hall
Three media displays are located in the lively active zone of the airport, in a visible field. There is constant passenger traffic in the registration hall. Due to this, LED screens receive massive coverage around the clock. The advertised material not only plays the role of a kind of magnet, attracting attention but also helps strengthen the brand's image.

Video citylights in the parking area
Excellent advertising mediums for mass audience coverage. Five video citylights are positioned along all entrances and exits from the terminal. The location allows the narrative to be seen both at the entrance and exit from the airport. A significant advantage of these mediums is that the advertising message will be noticed not only by airport passengers and their companions but also by drivers of vehicles.

Video broadcasts on this medium allow covering the entire international passenger traffic of Kharkiv Airport. We placed the LED screen so that its narratives could be seen from different locations in the terminal: from the registration zone for international flights; from the second floor, where passengers undergo aviation security; from cafes. The video display works 24 hours a day, making it a "progressive and tireless advertising manager" working for results.
