First autumn results: Ukraine's airports are operating at full capacity and showing excellent performance; domestic flights are increasing in number, ensuring traffic growth, and Ukrainians mostly choose planes for their trips abroad. The active development of the aviation space continues, opening new opportunities for business in Ukraine.
Boryspil Airport served 1,160.7 thousand passengers: international passenger traffic amounted to 1,091.7 thousand people, and domestic traffic was 69 thousand people. The most popular routes included Antalya, Sharm El Sheikh, Istanbul, Hurghada, Tel Aviv, Dalaman, Bodrum, Amsterdam, Tivat, and Heraklion.
Lviv Airport handled 257.4 thousand passengers, which is 119.3% more than the same period last year and 13.7% more than in September 2019. Popular destinations included Antalya, Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Boryspil, Warsaw, London, and Bodrum.
Kharkiv Airport served 142.8 thousand passengers, a 59% increase compared to the previous year. International flights were used by 133.5 thousand passengers, and domestic flights by 9.3 thousand. Popular routes included Antalya, Istanbul, Kyiv, Sharm El Sheikh, and Bodrum.
In September 2021, Zaporizhzhia Airport served 79,510 passengers, a 46% increase compared to last September when flights resumed. 70,595 passengers used international flights, and 8,915 used domestic flights. Popular destinations included Antalya, Istanbul, Kyiv, Tivat, and Sharm El Sheikh.

On October 8, Odesa Airport welcomed its one millionth passenger. "Today, we welcomed the one millionth passenger! It was a passenger of the FR69 Ryanair flight arriving at 9:32 from Berlin," the airport announced on its Facebook page. In 2021, Odesa Airport plans to serve 1.5 million passengers.

On October 1, Nova Poshta registered the airline Supernova Airlines, subordinate to the company "Nova Poshta Global," responsible for international delivery. The base airports for Supernova Airlines will be Boryspil and Lviv. Initially, the fleet of Supernova Airlines will consist of two leased aircraft.
Currently, Nova Poshta is studying potential routes for the new airline. The company primarily delivers international shipments to Ukraine from online stores in China, the USA, Germany, the UK, and Poland.

After signing the sky agreement, Wizz Air announced an increase in its bases in Ukraine by 7 aircraft in the next 3-6 months. There will be 12 new routes from Kyiv, 9 from Lviv, 3 from Odesa, and 2 from Kharkiv. The frequency of flights on existing routes from Kyiv, Lviv, and Kharkiv will also increase.
From December 16, Wizz Air will restart the Kyiv-Stockholm route, operating twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.
Wizz Air's subsidiary, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, on October 7, performed its first flight from Abu Dhabi to Odesa. The airline will fly this route once a week on Thursdays and, starting from December 19, on Sundays.

Ryanair, starting from March 27, 2022, will open a direct flight from Odesa to Venice, operating twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

From November 4, Scandinavian Airlines will open a direct flight between Ukraine and Sweden. Flights will be once a week on Thursdays from Boryspil Airport to Arlanda, Sweden's main airport.
By its order, the State Aviation Administration granted LLC "Airlines Azur Air Ukraine" the right to operate the air route Kyiv-Zanzibar (United Republic of Tanzania)-Kyiv for charter international air transportation, not less than one flight per week or not less than three flights per month from October 31, 2021, to March 26, 2022.
Starting from December 28, SkyUp Airlines will fly to Sri Lanka. Tickets are available from €483 for a round trip.
