Earlier, in our June news, we told you about the British public figure Michael Elston, who, genuinely concerned about the fate of Ukraine and every Ukrainian, expressed words of support on the best LED screens in the capital. Michael Elston is a public figure and an independent candidate for the mayor of Greater Manchester. He is an ordinary person who, from thousands of kilometers away, cannot stand aside and tries in every way to support Ukrainians.
Therefore, not stopping at the address in Kyiv, Michael later addressed his best wishes for peace to the southern part of our country. For his heartfelt address, we chose one of the largest corner facades of a building in Odesa so that the strength of moral support could be felt by as many people as possible.
All these touching addresses received positive feedback from many Ukrainians. Therefore, Michael Elston, without any hesitation, decided to personally visit Ukraine.
Our team gladly welcomed Michael's initiative to come to Ukraine. After all, we all understand that only a truly brave person will dare to visit the country during military events. To tell all Ukrainians about the courage of the British people and once again draw attention to their help to Ukraine today, we organized a meeting and facilitated coverage of Michael Elston's arrival in the media. Thus, video stories were broadcast on the news channels "Pryamiy" and "5 Kanal," and posts on this topic appeared on websites and social networks, where Michael could express his position and once again wish peace to all of Ukraine.
In addition to staying in Kyiv, Michael Elston visited Bucha to meet with Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk. During the conversation, the British public figure once again emphasized that the united democratic world is obliged to help restore Ukraine to leave all traces of destruction in the past. Western countries must also act as a united front to stop this terrible war.
Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk expressed sincere gratitude to Michael Elston for warm words of support, sympathy, and drawing the world's attention to the situation in Ukraine. "We are very grateful to the people of Britain for the support we feel in the fight against invaders," he assured.
Michael Elston's visit to Ukraine deeply impressed the British activist. He not only saw the horrific consequences of the Russian army's invasion with his own eyes but also felt the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian people.
"The strength is in independence," Michael Elston is convinced. And these words became the new slogan on the creatives that the Brit dedicated to Ukrainians for Independence Day. On the massive facade on Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska Street, on monitors in metro cars, and on the main LED screens in Kyiv, in August, Kyiv residents and visitors can see a new message from Michael Elston.
As a sign of gratitude and goodwill, Ukrainians, during the meeting on Independence Square, presented the British sympathizer with a symbol of Ukrainian identity – an embroidered shirt. And our entire team once again expresses words of boundless gratitude for the support!
"No more wars!" With faith in victory!
